Jenny and Tyler

I just arrived home from Music City. The Evangelical Press Association (EPA), to which I belong, has an annual conference every May, and I have had the joy of attending for more than ten years. A highlight of EPA is seeing/hearing the musicians. Often managers, eager to get good bands in front of the press, give us access to their best. And what a pleasure to hear them live in a small venue with only about 150 journalists and designers present. Past "unknown" but up-and-coming bands have included Barlow Girl and Casting Crowns.

This year we saw/heard/talked with Jars of Clay, who have been together for more than 19 years and have super tight harmony, perfected by years of practice. More about my conversation with them in the days ahead.

Here I want to introduce you to an act I heard for the first time that I loved: Jenny and Tyler. Check out this husband-and-wife team and consider the lyrics to "Song for You," especially in light of this month's news that has included friends covering for guys who want to rape and bomb others.

Jenny and Tyler insist, "I will never harm you."
