Most Aren't Mega

If we define mega-churches as having a weekly attendance of at least two thousand people, such churches account for only about 10% of all church attendance in the US, at about six million attending. By this definition, America has 1,600 mega-churches, accounting for only 0.5% of all Protestant churches here. Bottom line: Most people don't attend a mega-church.
