Dr. Bill Cutrer (1951–2013)
This morning my co-author of seven books, brother, mentor, cheerleader, pastor, co-missionary, and beloved friend, Dr. William Cutrer, passed into the arms of Jesus. Dr. Bill apparently died suddenly of heart-related issues while on an early-morning bike ride.
One of his last messages to me was to congratulate me for passing my final doctoral exam. He said, "Well done. Proud to know you!" Today it is his turn to hear a much more significant "well done."
Love and prayers go out and up for the family he was crazy about, including Jane, his wife of forty-one years, his three kids and their spouses, and grandkids he adored.
Update:
You can read his obituary here and view the memorial video. The announcement from Christian Retailing here. And a news story about the response to the news on social media here.
Update from Jane's FB page: We so appreciate all of your love poured out to us! It's amazing to read so many ways William Cutrer our wonderful husband and father and grampa has impacted lives for his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He would always tell you that to focus on Jesus was the most important thing you could do! He loved serving Him and each one of you! Please continue to carry on his ministry in your lives!
