Getting a Lit Education

Uncle Tom's Cabin knocked it out of first place.

Upon the release of her memoir, Waiting to Be Heard, Amanda Knox said she found solace in MarilynneRobinson’s Housekeeping whileincarcerated, and listed Vladimir Nabokov, Fyodor Dostoyevsky, Jonathan SafranFoer and David Foster Wallace among her favorite authors, according to aninterview with the New York Times.
Just think. Instead of paying all that tuition, I could have just gotten myself arrested if I wanted to read the Western canon uninterrupted.
