You Can Help

Yesterday I received the newsletter from a local non-profit that is helping homeless men, women, and children rebuild their lives. They offer everything from job training to meals to government-approved childcare so kids receive loving attention while single moms work. At the end of the newsletter, they included a list of items they need. And three seemed especially easy to come by: used clothing for women and children; used DVDS of Christian teaching, stories, and movies; and potholders. Consider sending your DVD of Ben-Hur or having your small group make/collect potholders. And when you do spring cleaning, give your used clothing a second life.
