My Fave Writers Conference

If you have a few articles in print and a book proposal ready, I recommend going to a writers conference to meet face-to-face with editors and agents. For the past forty-four years Mount Hermon, near Santa Cruz, has created a lab for writers at every level. This year, as usual, they offer free critiques, more than forty workshops, eight major tracks, networking with agents and editors, a teen writers track and an early-bird two-hour seminar. The dates: March 20–26. Go to mounthermon.org/writers for more info.
