Sanctity of Life Sunday

Today is a day set aside for focusing on the sanctity of life. And that means valuing the miracle of human life from the embryo to the grave:

Supporting unwed parents as they choose to carry to term (this year marks the 40th anniversary of Roe v. Wade). Being wise in use of assisted reproductive technologies. Caring for the poor. Making sure people have enough to eat. Standing up against bullying and human trafficking. Never letting "You good for nothing" pass from your lips. Making peace, not war. Finding ways to accommodate the differently-abled. Caring for the aged in the same way we ourselves would want to be treated. Believing life is precious....

The Bible says we are created in the image of God, male and female. And we are fearfully and wonderfully made!
