Bullying: A Human Dignity Issue

According to DoSomething.org, an anti-bullying site, 90% of students between the fourth and eighth grades endure bullying. One out of every ten students makes the decision to drop out of school due to bullying, and two in every five students report they are bullied simply because of the way that they look. The site also reports that bullying has been linked to 75 percent of mass shooting incidents. Maybe we need to add bullying to the topics on the table, in addition to talking about controlling sales of certain kinds of weapons and beefing up our healthcare services?
