Get Up and Give

Today marks the two-year anniversary of our family's loss of Gordon Patterson. My sister's husband, my niece and nephews' dad, my daughter's uncle...was killed by a texting driver. Please don't text and drive!

Today is also Get Up and Give day in North Texas. A large number of Dallas-based charities, including East-West Ministries and ALARM, will receive double the amount of contributions given through the DonorBridge web site--today only. This site is taking for-ev-er to load, which is probably a good sign. Just allow about 4 minutes before giving up!
