National Gallery of Art

Talk about "National Treasure"! At the National Gallery of Art in Washington DC, everybody enters free. The cafe has a waterfall wall. And even the tunnel connecting east and west wings is a "working" work of art. The courtyards are lovely. And the Sculpture Garden, with a fountain in the center, is a place of refuge in the middle of the city. In the midst of all the political talk about taxes, I appreciated seeing something citizens pay for that sure seems to be working.
