Rest in Peace, "Cousin Ed"

Our family lost another great man this week. Most people knew Ed Schroeder as the retired Oregon State Forester. I only ever knew him as Dad's "Cousin Ed." He was 96 years old, and going strong till the very end--active in church, doing Meals on Wheels, volunteering for organizations in Oregon.

Our family is blessed with an amazing legacy of giants. May we be found faithful to carry the torch.
