Girls' Night Out

Last night Carol (r) treated Eva (middle) and me (front center--okay, just kidding) to a fab Texas evening of outdoor seafood and Anne Lamott. She read from Grace (Eventually) and talked about writing and quoting poetry (Eliot's Prufrock and Auden were among those I actually recognized, which made me feel good about all the money I've spent on tuition at UTD). Oh, and she talked about Ann Coulter, but I can't repeat what she said.

My favorite quote from the night:

"It's only one six-billionth about you."
