Christianity Today recently announced their Book Awards. Have you read any of what their editors consider the best picks from 2005? One work that received an Award of Merit was co-edited by Dr. Michael Pocock, a professor at Dallas Seminary. Check out this piece he wrote for us at Kindred Spirit magazine a couple years back. Author watch: Keep an eye out for the writings of Adrian Plass. Wildly popular in Australia and Europe, Plass spoke at the Evangelical Press Association national meeting a couple of weeks ago. We laughed so hard it hurt. What he said was more than funny, though. It crunched toes a bit with just the sort of pain we need. Plass has written lots of books, but many of us stateside are just discovering him.
