Abortion: Foregoing Politics for Quiet Talk

Every morning after my cup of joe, I log on to the Internet and read a condensed e-mailed version of the NY Times. They send me the top three or four international stories, another three or four national stories, and a smattering of their columnists' pieces.

This morning I was reading along and, to my utter surprise, I stumbled on a quote from Dr. William Cutrer, with whom I have co-authored seven books. He has volunteered at various pregnancy resource centers for years, and the clinic where he currently serves, A Woman's Choice Clinic, quietly provides ultrasounds, counseling, Bible studies, diapers, etc., while other pro-lifers picket at the abortion clinic across the street. Today The Times featured A Woman's Choice and their work in a national news story that related to the current Supreme Court nomination.

When I got to my own school's library, I grabbed a hard copy of The Times to find out how deeply they had buried the story. Surprised again: It made the front cover. You can read it, too. Just follow the link, sign in (free), and have a read.
