Paris: Top of the Town
I did a lot of climbing in Paris, but the payoff was great views. Here are the seven I saw:
Paris from the airplane
... from the top of Notre Dame (drops of rain on my lens)
…from the Arc de Triumph
... from the Eiffel Tower (the lone high-rise you see is the where we ate our one schmancy dinner)
…from atop the Pompidou Museum (they need Windex)
… from Sacré Cœur on Montmartre (good thing it was winter)
... from the Ciel de Paris restaurant in the Montparnasse Tower
