You can make a difference. There are...

. 28 million people living in slavery (including sex trafficking) worldwide. 400,000 of these are in Haiti alone.
. 3.2 million untrained or under-trained pastors needing mentors.
. 100 million Christians currently living with persecution.
. 145 million orphans needing families and other types of support.
. 160 million children living on the streets, especially in Africa, Asia, Europe, and Latin America.
. 200 million people on the move in search of a better situation.
. 3 billion people with no nearby church or place where they can receive free care.

The numbers may overwhelm, but we can get behind efforts to stop slavery, support ministries that train nationals to pastor community churches, support children through aid organizations, pray for the persecuted, write to our representatives, reach out to immigrants, and share the love of Christ with our neighbors. We don't have to go overseas to help.
